jrnetwork
I have tried to install the software twice now and made sure all the instructions were followed to the T.. my hosting provider ensure that ioncube is all set up. I'm getting these errors: (click the links) jrnetworksolutions.com/support/ jrnetworksolutions.com/support/admin/login.php And I have no idea what is causing them... all my db details have been checked 3 times...
jrnetwork
this is annoying the heck out of me.. as now I am getting this error. Notice: Use of undefined constant E_NONE - assumed 'E_NONE' in /home/httpd/vhosts/jrnetworksolutions.com/httpdocs/support/install/install.php on line 1 I started from scratch... totally. why the different error now?
welch
From the looks, it appears that the dbconfiguration was not updated. Try manually putting your DB details in there and then try. And I am almost sure that the variable: display_errors should be set int configuration.php

generic
also have been issues with corrupt files when unzipping from winzip in the past.
jrnetwork
Do you mean get the file from the websit again and unzip it. Already done that once. Now it's the install.php file giving the error, instead of the dbconnect.php file. I've even tried uploading all the files in dreamweaver this time, instead of WSFTP_Pro using Binary mode. What else is wrong? you say that using winzip can cause errors.. i've been using that for years with no issues. If i was not to use winzip, what else should I use?
welch
I prefer winrar. I can promise from my experience with whmcs if you upload and follow the install it works. double check with winrar, chmoding, and install.php . Nothing else
generic
dreamweaver wont upload it right, I tried it, no way to set binary to stop corrupting of the encrypted code. It uploads it as ascii. unless you know a way to force binary in dreamweaver I use filezilla.
bear
dreamweaver wont upload it right, I tried it, no way to set binary to stop corrupting of the encrypted code. It uploads it as ascii. unless you know a way to force binary in dreamweaver Go to C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver MX\Configuration and look for FTPExtensionMap.txt Edit the file names in there that you need to force BINARY. This will remain in effect until you reedit the file. (May need to restart DW after the edit). Personally, I use WS_FTP instead for this sort of thing.

DataHosts
I use SmartFTP and no issues here. jrnetwork...if you need assistance with the install or upgrade you may want to purchase the service offered by WHMCS and have it done this way. Save time and trouble
