ramystyle
Hello, My clients were able to enter AVS information (3 digits behind their credit card). However, I just noticed that when a client logs in, in credit card information, there's no field to enter their AVS. Any idea ? Thanks
bear
You're not legally allowed to store them. It's against the agreement and you could be in for huge trouble doing so. So WHMCS doesn't allow you to do it.
ramystyle
Hi Bear, I am not looking to store it. I am asking because when I looked at the logs, here's what I get: Invoice ID => xxx User ID => xxx Amount => xx.xx Action => Auth_Capture Client => (XXXXX first and last name) status => E errCode => 212 errString => The authorization was successful but the transaction was aborted - probably AVS failure. subError => 0 subErrorString => Authorization failed with Auth Code: and AVS Response Code: N actionCode => AR When I asked my friend, he told me that he cannot find the place where to enter the CVV/AVS.. There's no field for this. Thanks

It appeared that way from your first post. A CVV (AVS) will only be asked for on the first payment (IIRC), when using a gateway of some kind. If your client logs in and was able to enter one onto the account, that would be storing it.
ramystyle
So how do I solve my problem ? I don't want him to store anything.. Where can you enter the CVV in order not to get refused by the gateway ?
