kacmac
Hi, I am looking to offer SEO service to my customers; I need a script that can submit website to search engines, website analysis, statistical analysis, Optimisation instructions, keywords research, ranking popularity, etc… Has any come to a script that offers something like this? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
Zorro67
It is said that to get good at anything takes 500 hours. SEO is no different. I would look at webceo or IBP, but they are desktop based and require interaction, planning and strategy. Good SEO isn't something you can automate; it needs the human factor
kacmac
Thank Zorro for you reply, I totally agree, however I would like to offer my customers a monthly subscription service where they get: Monthly Submition to some search engines. Check meta tags (desc, keywords, ...) Keyword popularity Report position on some major search engines for specific keywords Major website ranks retrieval and alexa Stuff like that really, and maybe a section where one human consultant could login and put his instructions. I am not sure if there would be something ready in the market, but I have seen some companies offering such a service. Cheers!
handsonwebhosting
Be aware that automated search engine submission often does more harm than good. While it may produce some instant results, the long term effects can seriously damage a domain. I have seen tools that will do all that you're asking, but they're not cheap - $2k and up for all inclusive reports etc. If interested, drop me a PM and I'll see if I can find them in my bookmarks etc.
keliix06
Automated submission doesn't do any harm, as long as you're not doing it over and over, but submission of any type does zero good. Getting one link from an indexed page will get your page indexed faster than submitting ever could, and without backlinks being indexed doesn't do you any good anyway.
dkent
I know a lot about SEO including tricks on ways to cheat the system. I managed to get a website from Page Rank 2 to Page Rank 8 in less than 3 months. I'm not going to lie though, it was a lot of hard work. I can confirm that auto submissions to directories is safe. However, it does very little for a website no matter how many times you use an auto submission service. The only thing it will do for you is it will show information in listings when doing a Google search using the website name. This doesn't actually help though. I'd recommend you to stay away from using auto submissions as this is just a waste of time. You should also not provide this service to your clients either as it's just some kind of "gimmick" (offering a product or service that may sound good but actually isn't). If you can, concentrate on getting as many backlinks as you possibe (this does wonders for any site and will increase you PR in time). One-way backlinks are better, and the higher PR of the website that has your website link on, the better, especially if it is at the bottom of the site and on the home (index) page. This is more difficult to do, but it's the only REAL way of doing SEO. I hope this information has been helpful to you. If you have any questions, let me know. charliez
Good info, so if backlinks is the way to go... what is a good way (no black hat) or strategy to get quality backlinks?
dkent
There are no good (easy) ways of getting backlinks unfortunately. I do back linking all the time and it's not easy at all. You're better off using businesses that offer this, but don't come crying when you see their prices! Usual price is $1 per backlink (and a single backlink isn't going to do much good for your site at all just on it's own). Ideally you should get over 100 backlinks, and obviously the more you have the better. Backlinks on PR 1-4 sites is a waste of time, unless you have several thousand on them, so 100+ backlinks on a PR 5-10 is the way to go.
