Conditional Display not working in 'Support Ticket Opened' template?

I know this is a weird one, but I have conditional displays working in other email templates (support), but when I add a conditional display to the 'Support Ticket Opened' template, everything falls down.

 

ie, when you submit the support ticket at step 2 and it's moving to step 3 (confirmation that the ticket has been created), all you get is a blank screen.

 

Remove the conditional display from the template, and all works as normal again.

 

Anyone else seeing this? Is there a workaround? Are conditional displays not possible in this particular template? Is it a bug?
