Which Domain Name Reseller to use??

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am looking for a domain name reseller to configure with WHMCS.

I am looking for a domain name reseller that will take a % cut or a fixed fee from every domain name that I sell instead of asking me to pay a once off setup amount or once of credit amount in order to sell domain names.

I suppose as all domain name resellers take a fixed fee per domain name registered anyways, I actually want to know if there are any domain name resellers that do not charge the once of setup fee or request that you pay an initial amount from which all sold domain names will be purchased?

I am just starting a business and do not have the capital to pay the once off fees but would be very willing to pay a fixed fee or commision for every domain name that I sell, when it has been sold.

Thanks

Hi

I use 123-REG affliate program, which means you will have to order doamins with 123-reg manually in your clients name through an affliate link, but the commision rates are just as good as if you were to have a reseller domain account and having to set up your own charges, also it means you sell domains at 123-reg prices which are cheaper that if you were to have a domain reseller acount.

Do you use WHMCS?

If you currently use this software, go to your customer panel and from youe client area, click the addons tab, you can chose from enom or reseller club or use both.

With either of these you get what you are after.

WHMCS has set up the parent account and set this up as a service to the users of their script.

If you're taking the order and the money, how will they know/get paid ?

If you dont want to *automate* the procedure, sign up for an enom account through WHMCS and setup "registry rocket" where you set the end-user pricing, and send peopel to that to buy the domains - that way you earn a known amount per domain sold

enom is expensive and their support is lacking for all but their top level resellers. If you do reconsider being an affiliate vs a reseller, checkout netearthone, they are fantastic, cheaper than enom and respond to support requests very quickly (live chat is awesome)
