Automated To-Do-List Module

Hi, is there a way of setting up a module that puts the required order data into a to-do-item and sends an email to the staff? Or is there already a feature like this?

 

This would be very useful for my web design ordering system.

 

Any responses would be great?

I also have similar need in my company. Most of the to-dos are related to my staff.

 

What I thought was that I need an internal ticket system (with email) for my staff related to the to-dos.

I think there should be a module option for this as this could be helpful for all sorts of things.
