isdoo
did you update the Plesk module? Instructions say only upload new module if running version 9. Might be worth uploading the old Plesk module.
hmobron
Uploading the old version off WHMCS did not help. So i downgrade the system.
FastTrack
isdoo, thanks buddy for the info. Works without a problem with old plesk module
webmidas
it would have been better if both the version have existed. this way old plesk can use old plesk module and new can use new plesk module.
hmobron
I asking for a update off my Plesk key so i can run version 4. But in version 4 when i create a client and add 2 hosting plans will it add 2 clients? Version 3.8 should not do that from version 3.4.
MatrixServers
I did the same, upgraded to v4, finding out that plesk 9 is needed. I got the following using plesk 8.6: MODULE COMMAND ERROR 1005 - protocol version 1.6.0.0 is not supported. current protocol version is 1.5.1.0 V4 looks amazing. Plesk 9 looks enticing. If i upgrade to plesk 9, i'm sure other bugs will pop up. Just upgrading the module plesk, looks like a temp fix. What would you do?

sanfranciscohost
We are seeing this here too when trying to create an account on our Plesk 8.2. Module Create Failed - Service ID: 544 - Error: 1005 - Protocol version '1.6.0.0' not supported. Current protocol version is '1.5.0.0' What do we do? Matt? Thanks! sanfranciscohost
UPDATE: We replaced the 4.0 module with the one from our last installed WHMCS and tried to create an account again. This time it seemed to have created the account without a problem. I will report back in this thread if there are any further issues. studeggle
Same problem, yes going back to the original plesk module works. And I have attached the file incase anyone lost a copy not realizing there was a problem and deleted there backup. plesk.php.txt
RandyC
As most Plesk users will be aware, the way Plesk handles their API is to make it not backwards compatable with updates. Therefore, you should only update to the Plesk module in V4 if you are running Plesk 9 for all your servers. If you are not, you will need to continue using the current module where creation of clients and domains should still work. Source: WHMCS v4.0 Release Notes Basically what it is saying is that if you are not running v9 of plesk to have the old plesk module installed. You can find this module at: whmcs\modules\servers\plesk If you have installed v4 for WHMCS then simply go to your client area, download 3.8 and upload the plesk module that is with that package and it will work fine. Cheers.

spaceman
Plesk 9 and V4 works for me perfect. No problems. Plesk 8.x we have also Problems now. Can we make also Expand Api? Have some one try this?
sgpaul
I would suggest to whmcs team to have separate modules plesk and plesk9 so we can handle both if we have servers with different servers. I tried to create a plesk9 module by copying the plesk files to plesk9 but I guess in the code there are references to plesk so plesk9 is not available in the modules drop down of the server config.
lemurtech
I would suggest to whmcs team to have separate modules plesk and plesk9 so we can handle both if we have servers with different servers. I tried to create a plesk9 module by copying the plesk files to plesk9 but I guess in the code there are references to plesk so plesk9 is not available in the modules drop down of the server config. I tried the same thing, but no joy. I wonder if anyone has figured out how to do this. I'm sure there are more than a few of us who have mixed Plesk 8 and Plesk 9 server scenarios. @sgpaul: did you ever have any luck?
