Staff - Forced Last Name

I don't know if this has been discussed or asked before. But on the version 3.8.1 then you where required to enter a last name for the staff when you created his account. But, you could always just "edit" the staff account again and then remove the last name without any errors.

 

Now, v4 requires you to enter a last time when you create the account, and it returns an error if you remove the last name later... Wtf? Why on earth would WHMCS force me or my staff to enter a last time in the admin setion? It makes no sence what so ever....

 

I assume that i can enter the database and manually remove the Lastname from there on each staff, but is there an easier way?

Do your staff not have surnames? Can you use a blank space instead?

And yes, offcourse our staff has surnames, but if i want to use the surname only, firstname only or both, then this is something that should be up to me, not chosen, selected and forced by WHMCS....
