djpete
Hi, I have set up coms and com.au's in the domain pricing area for no transfer charge for .au's and all is working fine. But there is a prob with the email notification. There is no charge to transfer a .com.au from another registrar to me. And when the client gets there confirmation of transfer email it does not ask for a payment for the transfer which is correct but... as you see below... Thank you for your domain transfer order. Your order has been received and we have now initiated the transfer process. The details of the domain purchase are below: Domain: removed.com.au Registration Length: 2 Year/s Transfer Price: $0.00 AUD CORRECT Renewal Price: $59.00 AUD Next Due Date: 29/04/2011 INCORRECT AS THIS DOMAIN WILL KEEP GOING UNTIL DUE FOR RENEWAL WHICH IS NOT THIS DATE ...it shows the next due date 2 years from the date of the transfer request which is not right. Should I just remove this field from the email template? The other problem is that I am a reseller. If someone comes in new to transfer their domain to me the request approval form to tranfer the domain comes from the Registrar I buy from which is not good if I am trying to keep everything under my companies' image. Anyone come across this and have a solution? Thanks, Pete
djpete
This is all I could think of for part one of my prob above. Modified template as: Dear {$client_name}, Thank you for your domain transfer order. Your order has been received and we have now initiated the transfer process. The details of the domain purchase are below: Domain: {$domain_name} Registration Length: {$domain_reg_period} Transfer Price: {$domain_first_payment_amount} Renewal Price: {$domain_recurring_amount} Next Due Date: {$domain_next_due_date} Note For Australian Domains: Disregard Next Due Date above. This will be updated correctly as soon as your domain transfer has completed. You may login to your client area at {$whmcs_url} to manage your domain. {$signature}
othellotech
the dates are always incorrect for transfers, so an "if type == transfer" in teh template might be the best solution ...
djpete
ah good to know not just an issue with my setup then. I will just leave the note for me, I might make it for all domain transfer eg: Note For Domain Transfers: Disregard Next Due Date above. This will be updated as soon as your domain transfer has completed. And then I take it I need to manually adjust the Next Due Date in WHMCS when I get the info...?
