Need to migrate customers - can I get them to enter their details themselves

I haven't started using WHMCS yet, but it's already installed and I'm learning it.

 

I need to migrate a lot of customers into WHMCS from a different, closed system. Is there an easy way to have them enter their details themselves?

 

I'm thinking of maybe creating usernames and passwords and have them login to fill their data.

You could have them visit register.php and fill in the form. You'll have to add their hosting account and website details though.

Can't really get into specifics, it's a reseller system that doesn't allow me to export any details.
