A few question before getting a license.

I have a few questions regarding WHMCS that I would really like a solution.

 

#1- I installed WHMCS at my.elevatedservers.net. I can see it fine on http but when I typed https, it shows the main page. Still haven't figured why.

 

#2- If I bought from a reseller, can I still have the direct offers from WHMCS?

 

#3- Refer to the attachment. What is the differences between web quota and disk space? Do I need to enter zero if I want to make unlimited FTP? Can anyone link me to a wiki or help page on how to setup a hosting plan, maybe a step by step?

Web space quota is how much space the actual account sold receives for that account. The Disk space refers to reseller accounts, to state how much space they have available to sell on the server.

You will need to buy and install a SSL certificate if you wish to be able to use https you can get these from your webhosting provider usually.

You have your ssl certificate installed on you main domain, but your whmcs is installed on a sub-domain.

 

You need a seperate ssl certificate for your sub-domain, and most probably a seperate ip address as well.

Yeah, I just noticed that a few hours after posting this.

How embarrasing for not noticing that. lol.

But for the record, Ilya from Namecheap was very nice. He even gave me new SSL for the subdomain. I cancelled the previous one though.
