Interdit
Hello, On V4RC2, what ports should I open on my firewall for the "Check for Updates" feature ? Update Check Connection Failed - Check your servers firewall settings... Thanks, Francois
SRobinson
According to my firewall logs whenever i click the update button, even for 5 minutes after i clicked the button no connection attempts are made! So either its using a port thats already open and its just showing that error, or ... Something strange?

racku
I've been having this problem too. At first I used a license from LicensePal, but after I saw that you don't get the extras like enomreseller and maxmind, I switched over to a license straight from WHMCS and now I get this error and it won't display the license information.
ct2k7
This "bug" is also existant in the latest stable release. Firewall shows no denied connections.
Lawrence
This "bug" is also existant in the latest stable release. Firewall shows no denied connections. Working here. Do you have port 80 open for outgoing connections from your server?
Flisker
I've just had this error on 3.8.2. I even disabled my firewall and checked and I still had the same error. EDIT: just come back for me Edited April 18, 2009 by Flisker
