ditto
I am using WHMCS Version 3.8.2 and DirectAdmin. Is it possible to remove the mandatory password fields from the shopping cart? What I want, is to NOT let the customers log in to WHMCS at all, but only give them access to DirectAdmin. I think the only thing that is stopping me from doing that, is the problem with the mandatory password fields in the shopping cart checkout process. <<can't hire here>> any help/tips about how to remove the need for the password fields. Thanks in advance!
bear
How will they manage their account if you take that away? They need to pay invoices, change their profile....
ditto
I will only use PDF invoice, wich they will receive in email. Any profile change should be sent to my customer support email, and I will then edit and update the customers account information in WHMCS myself. bear
These are governed by: {$LANG.clientareapassword} {$LANG.clientareaconfirmpassword} In the "viewcart.tpl" file, but if they are being required to submit, that is apparently within the main code, and encrypted. The only thing that has any required bits in the tpl code is this: "{$customfield.required}", unrelated to what you're asking. I'd suggesting contacting Matt for a quote or help with this.
ditto
Thank you for the information, Bear. I will think about it a little more, and then ask for a quote in a support ticket.

Hey Ditto - where you able to figure out a workaround? I've been struggling with the same issue.
ditto
Hey Ditto - where you able to figure out a workaround? I've been struggling with the same issue. No, I am sorry but I did not. But afterwards I changed my mind about this, and I am now using the client area for my customers.
