Check your server cron logs to see if the cron attempted to run

In cpanel servers the cron logs are located in /var/log/cron

Also check crond is running or restart it

I have a simular problem .. how can i check my cronjob is working ?

I don't receive the daily backups i setup.

what if the cron is in a diffrent location, would that keep it from running?

apparently mine is in var/spool/cron

Not to cast any aspersions, but I would not trust a random file from a stranger to be run on my server, via cron or otherwise.

I had the same problem, Matt send me a file to replace yesterday and now everything is working.

U are really overdoing it. I am just trying to help and than i get this. Thanks !

Eikel.

Then a file directly from Matt should (possibly) fix the issue for him as well.

No offense was intended, simply stating a fact that trusting a file to run on my server that came from a random person on a forum is not something I'd personally do.
