Installing trial version to evalutate

I'm on dream host and trying to install whmcs to a subdomain I have there. I've gone thru all the steps at http://wiki.whmcs.com/Installing_WHMCS and have poured thru dreamhost's documentation on running a custom php.ini, but I can't seem to get the install.php file to run. I was getting "Site error: the file /home/suenall/tickets.businessitsavvy.com/whmcs/install/install.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator." (yes I added the zend_extension line to php.ini, and modified .htaccess to point to the new php.ini...) now I'm getting "link broken" any thoughts?

forget the link broken message, I had typed the url wrong. Just the "ion cub php loader is required" message.

Go into your WHM at load it via easy apache.

Load the basic function in EasyApache...

 

When you get to step 5 in EasyApache, click on "Exhaustive Options List". You should see it there. Check it, and reload Apache. I would then restart Apache after that.

opps, I forgot to ask if sue was on a dedicated server, I was assuming she was. Yes Sparky is correct.
