EpicNode
Hello, does anyone know how we can get domains from namecheap to work out with whmcs for clients etc. Do we need to make a module for that or what? Thanks in advance.
chickendippers
As far as I know Namecheap don't offer a reseller service.
JFSG
You can contact NameCheap. They have an API that can be integrated with WHMCS for domain & SSL sales.

JFSG
I know that. Thank you That is considered NameCheap's reseller program, although they have no formal discount there..
meeven
Okay, here is some good news. If you sign up for access to Namecheap's API through your namecheap account and then put in a ticket requesting their module for WHMCS, they will send you a zip file which you can install into WHMCS. It works. You will need to enter your API key into WHMCS configuration area, though. The bad news: The module doesn't support discounts and they don't have slabs for reseller pricing like directi do. I was asked by Namecheap to contact Zerensoft for adding further features to the module! I might have, if they had a useful reseller pricing policy with discounts. Of course, you can manually register the domains and enter them later into WHMCS, but it beats the purpose of having a whmcs module, doesn't it? Update: If you have more than 50 domains with them, they will give you a special discount code. But, it won't work in tandem with the whmcs module they have built. I do remember that NameCheap has coupon codes to get $0.88 off. Unfortunately, it can't be used with the API I suppose.

Actually, if I remember correctly, what Namecheap told me was that I could use it with the API and get the discount too, but to integrate that function in the whmcs module, I would have to pay Zerensoft or develop it myself.
