michael_m
Hello, very new to WHMCS. Is there a way that ONLY paid customers of selected products (not all) will have access to a certain custom HTML page / snippet ? (or even to a link/button they will able to click on from inside the product page) Thank you Michael

michael_m
what you are saying is that there's no a built in capability, and I have to write and AddOn or something like that?
Shaun
Yes that correct. Whmcs is a billing application not a site authentication app. Its tailerd mianly for the hosting industry. That dosn't mean it can't acheive else where just needs a little tweakin. If you want to show/hide sections of your templates (like on an invoice) then this can be done, and i suggest you look at that wiki. Otherwise if you have another site (mybooksite.com) and you want to sell subscriptions on another site (mycart.com) you will have to make mybooksite look at the db for mycart and see if they are paid.
mysmallbizu
I've got pages setup now to protect videos - only registered users can login - but would also like to be able to protect the pages similar to the downloads page where only a client who has purchased specific access would be able to authenticate on that page. Matt replied that this was not possible via the existing download page setup and would require some custom coding. Interested in getting this done?
