meeven
According to the wiki, if one chooses Resellerclub as the registrar, individual customer accounts are created and those domains are accessible and manageable through both WHMCS and the super site. This is in contrast with choosing Directi which creates all the domains under one customer account of the reseller. Fine enough, but I have a few questions about how this works: 1.) When an individual resellerclub customer account is created, does an email go out to that customer with the user name and password? 2.) Can anyone using resellerclub as the registrar confirm that domain renewal reminders, renewals etc are still automatically handled by WHMCS? Thanks in advance.
dmc_ss
1. From within the resellerclub interface that you use, you can turn off sending email to customers. With this set, your customers have no idea RC is in use. 2. WHMCS should collect the expiry dates of domains from RC or you can enter them manually in WHMCS. When the customer pays the renewal fee in WHMCS it will issue the renew command to RC.
netearth
To turn off Customer emails : Login to RC >> Settings >> Mail Preferences >> Do not send ANY mail to my Customers (Tick this box) Submit and hey presto.
