ScrltOTara
Is there a way to make one group available ONLY to resellers? Our reseller program was brought from another system where you didn't sell a block of features to be resold, but the reseller signed up for accounts one at a time. So we created the resold accounts on the system, but if I have the group hidden so regular clients can not access, then resellers can't access to sign up new clients either. Any ideas?
othellotech
you can provide the direct url to the reseller "group" to the people you need to just add a bt to the tpl which checks they have an active reseller account or a client custom field set and output "your special order links ..."
ScrltOTara
I tried the direct link, though, and the page has no products because it's hidden.
jackgordon
The hidden group will have a unique link, which will show up when you go to it. It will look something like this: http://www.domain.com/whmcs/cart.php?gid=6 Check the group properties to get the right url.
ScrltOTara
Ah, the problem was that I had the group hidden, but also had the packages checked off to NOT be on the order form. Now I got it. Thanks!
ScrltOTara
Would you be able to point me in the right direction for adding the code that tests if they are a reseller? Which file would hold the client area header navigation? And what criteria defines a reseller in the db?
