WHMCS, INR and PayPal

This is interesting because I too have WHMCS set up to show prices in INR and was planning to integrate PayPal.

Could this be because PayPal doesn't yet support payments in INR? I had the occasion to contact PayPal a couple of weeks ago in another context and this is what they said:

The currencies available for payments sent through PayPal are Euros, Pounds Sterling, Japanese Yen, Canadian Dollars, Australian Dollars, U.S. Dollars, New Zealand Dollar, Swiss Franc, Hong Kong Dollar, Singapore, Dollar, Swedish Krona, Danish Krone, Polish Zloty, Norwegian Krone, Hungarian Forint, Czech Koruna, Mexican Peso, and Israeli New Shekel. We hope to expand our Multiple Currency capabilities in the future. Due to the complexities of Global finance, we cannot give a timetable for this possible expansion.

I regret to inform you but we are not yet supporting your local currency to accept and send money through PayPal. When you send and withdraw money through PayPal, our system will convert your transaction to your local currency.

Any one from India using PayPal with WHMCS would like to comment?

AndyW, nice to know your problem was solved. Is this some custom work you paid for? Otherwise, one would expect to see it incorporated into WHMCS as many people in India seem to be using the package these days.
