Next Due Date Issues

I'm having a weird issue with my WHM setup. For some reason I think it skipped February billing for many users.

For example, I have one customer who's "Next Due Date" is 03/03/2009. This user's last invoice was for (01/03/2009 - 02/02/2009) and this invoice is paid. Shouldn't this user's next due date be 02/03/2009?

  • 2 months later...

We just went back and noticed this as well

Anyone that had an invoice due on Jan 29, 30, 31 had their next due date for

Mar 1 2 or 3

It seems that whmcs uses a 30 cycle rather than a calendar month....

If you go through the whole year you have a group of people that are in effect getting a free Month.

Since their billing is now being paid at the END of the service month rather than the begining,......

This needs to be rectified......

I would assume this is an issue with your set up, as such an obvious bug wouldn't survive for as long as WHMCS has.

Actually its NOT my setup and its NOT a bug,

WHMCS uses a 30 day billing cycle rather than a true monthly billing cycle......

take a look at your invoices that are due monthly

Look at invoices that were created on Jan 26 and due on Jan 31

you will notice that their next due date is NOT in feb but in March 3rd
