Client Purchasing problems

We have a number of customers who have services under olsder contracts with us. We also no longer offer those particular hosting accounts.

What is the best way for us to have those customers (whilst their existing hosting accounts and domains are still active in whmcs) either sign up to new services or upgrade their services? The important thing is for them to agree to the new T&Cs.

As far as I am aware a customer can not sign up for another service for the same domain name whilst the service is active in whmcs and cPanel ... And upgrading a package does not force any T&Cs to be agreed to.

Any pointers?

Hi Denesh,

Send out an email to let them know that their current plan is expiring and that they need to choose a new plan. Make all the current plans an upgradable option so that they can choose it.

You may have to work out the billing differences manually...that part I am not sure about.

Thanks.. although this was more to do with them agreeing to new T&Cs during the 'upgrade' process more than anything.. especially as there is no where within the whmcs system to agree to new T&Cs on an upgrade process.

A way around this as I have found out is within whmcs > general settings > ordering - allow orders for domains already within the system. :-)
