Will it effect the search engine rank of my website if i change HOSTING SERVER?

i have heard that if i change my website hosting server , it will effect the ranking of my website on search engine.

 

i don't know if its true or not. but i am really reluctant now to change the hosting server.

 

any advice?

In short, yes to some extent, changes to domain details have a short-term "reset" of your google ranking, which can be good (you've redesiged the site and have all new content to index) or bad (nothings changed except location, and you have a period of less traffic)

 

If you're not seeing 5,000/day unique visitors from natural serach results, it isnt going to make the slightest bit of difference

While it will, it will not have the same effect as changing the name of your web pages, remember web sites don't rank, only web pages rank. So, as long as you do not make site structure changes it will have minimal effect.

 

And like someone said, depending on your traffic, it might not even matter anyway.
