popart
In my new (first time) install of WHMCS, I'm uploading all of the files to my subdirectory. But, what about the "htaccess.txt" file? Can I upload it just like that, as a text file? Or, am I suppose to copy/paste the code in that file to a .htaccess file?
bear
It's a plain text file, just like an .htaccess file is. You can copy the contents into an existing .htaccess file, or upload and rename to ".htaccess" if you don't already have one in the directory. Don't be surprised if it disappears from your FTP program after renaming...most FTP servers are set to ignore "." files.
hightekhosting
The htacess.txt can be converted to .htaccess as bear said. The content of the file is the coding required for the new SEO module to work. Without it, the SEO module will not function.
