wsme
Hi, one of my customers wants to pay with a Maestro debit card. His details are entered in WHMCS, but it returns an error saying to use a different card. The gateway log shows: TIMESTAMP => 2008-11-27T00:00:08Z CORRELATIONID => c0feaeef43dc5 ACK => Failure VERSION => 3.0 BUILD => 758866 L_ERRORCODE0 => 81147 L_SHORTMESSAGE0 => Missing Parameter L_LONGMESSAGE0 => CreditCardType : Required parameter missing L_SEVERITYCODE0 => Error We use PayPal Payments Pro and WHMCS 3.6.0. Does anyone know why this is happening? I noticed in the area where you can enter your credit card details that there isnt a place for CV2 numbers, but there is when you go to directly pay the invoice via logging into the account and paying from there. penguin
Switch has been discontinued and is now Maestro
openmind
The problem is that PP Payments Pro does not support 3D secure which is required for Maestro. That's one of the many reasons why PP Pro is a bit flakey
wsme
Ahh I see! So who would you recommend as a good gateway to use? I use PayPal Pro mainly for cost reasons, so paying £20 roughly a month. Who does everyone else use, or who would you recommend? Thanks, Paul
openmind
Well we've used Protx for years. Very reliable and integrates with WHMCS...
penguin
I'll second Protx as well.
othellotech
I find the protx system flakey at best, so for most of our processing use WorldPay with our own merchant accounts
openmind
Very surprising Rob. They did have some outages last year but then so have WP in the past. One of my clients puts through well over 3,000 transactions per month without a problem...
