danield
How can I take daily backups of my SQL database? Anyone know? And is it possible for them to automatically download to my computer?
SilverNodashi
yes, you can download some of the MySQL backup scripts from hotscripts.com, which could be run via cron to automate the process.

bettysue
Configuration > Database Backups > Set the options > Save (Sorry to revive an older thread, but the subject fit my issue) When I go to Configuration-->Database Backups I get a page with the message: "You do not have the required permission to perform the selected operation! Action: Configure Database Backups" Yet I can't configure them due to the fact I get the above message when I try. I would be greatly appreciative of any suggestions on how to resolve this. thank you, betty

AndrewMKP
Are you correctly synced with the server? This could be an issue if you are receiving it empty and expecting different.

AndrewMKP
Perhaps open a support ticket with WHMCS/your reseller to investigate a little more, its probably just a simple fix so I am sure it wouldn't take them long. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
