apollo1
Can someone please explain to me what this option is supposed to do, and what is the recommended setting? I imagine it means that the domain will not be automatically renewed unless the client pays/orders the renewal, but I just want to make sure. Thanks.
othellotech
it allows the domain to expire if enabled *prior* to invoice generation, then it supresses the invoice creation
apollo1
Ok I think I get it now... so either way, the domain will not be automatically renewed in Resellerclub or enom unless the customer actually orders a renewal?
apollo1
I found my answer in the WHMCS manual.. posting here for future reference: By default, all domains are set to auto-renew. By that, we mean that an invoice will generate x days prior to the due date and once paid, the domain will renew. It won't actually renew without payment being made. It is possible however to set a domain's auto renewal setting to off so that no invoice will generate and it will be allowed to expire. This can be done by ticking the Do Not Renew checkbox on the domains management page in the admin area or by the client themselves through the toggling of the option in the client area.
