Default order form modification

Is there an easy way to put the "Step 1, Step 2", etc. on the default order form accross the top of the page, instead of in the left column? I just want to make the steps a row, and the items a row, instead of each a column.

Yes there is... just edit the default template files

I have changed mine to across the top with the categories at the side

Sorry for someone who is relatively new, but wanted to ask what file we want to edit? Is this the header.php file?

We are talking about the default ordering templates. They are located in the templates/orderforms/default folder and almost all of them will need to be modified.
