local_part_suffix / subaddressing

cyberstrider

Recommended Posts

I have had no luck so far in the cpanel forums.. so asking here in case any of you have tackled this.

I would like to configure exim via the advanced editor that cpanel supply to enable local_part_suffix so that, say I have a mailbox set up as steve@cyberstrider.net, I can also accept steve+hamleys@cyberstrider.net or steve-hamleys@cyberstrider.net without it going to the default mailbox for cyberstrider and without me having to create aliases for each + or - suffix... just like in googlemail and a number of others.

So anyone know how do do this within cpanel?

I can edit the exim config file manually but then any changes I make will be overwritten if cpanel decides to write another config file at some point.

Any pointers/help?
