Questions relating to Install of trial

MellaHost

Question

I am currently using ClientExec as my billing system, i have come accross WHMCS and really like what it has to offer.

  • I have uploaded to my Root Folder
  • Extracted the files to a Special Folder I made in the public_html
  • Uploaded Ioncube and extracted into this special Folder ( even though there are already Ioncube files directly in this WHMCS files)
  • Followed the Instructions on Installation from the WHMCS website

I have uploaded the files to my root directory, extracted them to a folder i made for this program

Looking through the Files I CANNOT FIND ANYWHERE

/attachments 777

/downloads 777

/templates_c 777

I then decided just to try to see if I can run the Install after changing the Config.php to 777 But (of Course) I can't!

I Know I can get this Installed (with a little Direction) I want to try it out Before Paying for it. So I dont want to have to pay for someone to Install it, That would be defeating the purpose for the Trial!!

What could I be doing wrong?

Thanks in advance

Thanks, I just managed to Re upload them all again, you were right, it missed a lot of files...

Im looking for the configration.php File..... I thought it may have been the same as the config.php I changed the permissions to that one, but the Install is still asking me to change the configurations.php file to 777..... I have looked cant seem to find this one.... I have checked the download on My PC (before the Zipping) and found the same 'config.php.... NOT configuration.php.

Where abouts would it be?

Have you followed the instructions in the readme file?

NEW INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1. Unzip the contents of the zip file to a folder on your computer

Step 2. Rename the file configuration.php.new to configuration.php

....
