Subdomain names

Does WHMCS have the ability / functions to create free subdomain names for accounts hosted on a server?

 

As I will be offering free hosting and paid VPS and dedicated server plans soon, It would be good to know, This feature is not needed. But would be good if it could.

Not sure how this would be better than cPanel's subdomain feature, can you clarify? I mean it does sound interesting but I'd like to understand the benefit more. Could it work in conjunction with HyperVM too (with proper DNS, of course)?

In cPanel it just creates an account using a domain name of your choice. In our case http://example.valcatohosted.com. In WHM would show up as example.valcatohosted.com

So if I wanted test.crystal-core.org would it do that in WHM and create the account. Or would this benifit me more in just my paid hosting?

it would create it as an "account" in its own right rather than just remapping a directory of the main account

as far as cpanel/server is concerned an account with the domain domain.mysite.com is no differenet to mysite.com in the way it functions it will treat it exactly the same
