ScrltOTara
I'm sure this has been asked before, but I couldn't find an answer in the posts. The "login to control panel" links in both the admin and the client area use the IP address instead of the host name, thus generating a security certificate error. Can the links be changed to use the server name OR the client's domain name instead? Thanks! Tara
goddess_dix
i put the server name in the place where it asks for the ip in the server setup area to address this, and haven't seen any problems from doing it that way.
othellotech
Client domain wont work until after DNS has resolved etc Servername in WHMCS is descriptive rather than the actual FQDN of the machine, so woudl only work where you actually specified it correctly - in which case you can just edit the template accordingly
ScrltOTara
I can't find where it calls the URL in any of the templates to change it only there. I did change it in WHMC where the IP address goes, it seems to be working fine.
goddess_dix
the one thing i have discovered with this in the hosting account welcome email, by default it says "IP: domain.com" now and the temp logins have your hosting url instead of the ip, so that is a bit of an issue, since you actually want your IP address there most likely...
