Packages vs WHM

In my current client manager, it's required that the packages in that manager need to be created with exactly the same parameters as in WHM. After contacting support here I was told that this is the case with WHMCS as well for a reseller account. What about with root reseller access? are custom plans available in that case, without setting them up beforehand?

If you have root access then you don't need to add packages in WHM. If you are on a reseller account, you might want to add the package in WHM and WHMCS. Depending if your host as the option of you limiting your reseller account access.

Ah, there's the answer I'd needed. It's my server, but I create accounts with reseller access, and the reseller account has nearly all priveleges granted so it should work either way. Perfect, thanks!
