Moving clients from one WHMCS to another

Hi,

 

We are in the process of buying clients from another hosting company and are wondering what is the easiest way of moving their billing and other information from the current WHMCS installation at their current host, to our WHMCS install.

 

I assume it could be done by simply copying over some db tables and such.

 

(We already know how to move cPanel accounts between servers, so that is not a concern).

Not really. It will actually override the current users in the database as the IDs would mis-match.

 

If you know PHP/MySQL this can easily be setup with using the SELECT and INSERT commands.

 

 

You may want to contact WHMCS and see if they already have this built, if not they may create a script or you may have to do some data entry.
