bear Posted June 12, 2008 Share Posted June 12, 2008 Use a pipe to gzip by adding a line at the end: mysqldump --opt -Q -u my_whmcs --password=mypass my_whmcs > /home/mine/backup/whmcs.sql | gzip -c > whmcs.sql.gz That should do it.
