jimmy1987
I'm in the middle of tranferring to a new cpanel server which has a new ipaddress too. How can i change it so that the costumers i already have can login with their old cpanel account on the new server later on. Everything gets migrated from the old to the new cpanel server so all accounts and packages will be the same. Or do i just change the server preferences and the rest gets auto updated too ?
bear
Cpanel has an account transfer function, including transfer multiple accounts. This will grab it all, email, passwords, usernames, files, etc. You can also grab all the packages if you have shell access (hint: /var/cpanel/packages).
simplybe
If you mean so that they can login to the new server via whmcs, then just change the server settings in whmcs to the new ip, name servers etc..
