9thnode
After upgrading to 3.6.1 I'm noticing that while on domainchecker.php my TLD's no longer show up in the select form, however, when placing an order on Step 2 for registering / transfering a domain, the TLD's show here. Anyone else having this issue. And yes they are (and have been) correctly configured in WHMCS Configuration -> Domain Pricing Thanks
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted April 29, 2008 WHMCS CEO Share Posted April 29, 2008 The TLDs now show up as checkboxes so it means you haven't followed the instructions for upgrading (haven't updated your templates). http://demo.whmcs.com/domainchecker.php Matt
othellotech
If there an option to retain the single tld selection drop-down list as well ?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted April 29, 2008 WHMCS CEO Share Posted April 29, 2008 Yes, or you could just forward to the order form for that. Matt
9thnode
I did everything in the Readme file provided in the release (even down to updating the invoice confirmation e-mail template (which I believe was the last step). chrismfz
Is there a way to integrate the new bulk domain / multiple check domain checker in a site how can we do it dynamically ? Is there a way or I have to just make a form manually ?
BAJI26
I guess it would be something like this: <form method="post" action="domainchecker.php?search=bulk"> <div class="contentbox" align="center"> <p align="center"><textarea name="bulkdomains" cols="60" rows="8"></textarea><br /> <input type="submit" id="Submit" value="Lookup"></p> </div> </form>

TDub
Hmm, I followed the directions exactly too and I'm having the same problem with the domain checker page. I'll try updating my templates as suggested. EDIT: Yup, did the trick
ChrisGooding
When you say update your templates... I am confused We haden't customised our templates, so I was under the impresion that I wouldn't need to change them.... What exactly do I need to do to get it working? And if it is a case of updating the templates..... what needs doing in the others? Thanks
joe123
before i upgraded to 3.6.1 from 3.6.0 i sent an email to matt asking for the files changed in portal template and this is what i received from him : It is important to always remember to update your templates. As youcould be upgrading from any version, there could be numerous changes you need to make. For the V3.6.0 update to V3.6.1, the following template files have changed and may need updating: - clientareadomaindetails.tpl - domainchecker.tpl - forwardpage.tpl - viewinvoice.tpl - bulkdomainchecker.tpl (NEW) - clientareadomaingetepp.tpl (NEW) - clientareadomainregisterns.tpl (NEW) - orderforms/cart/configuredomains.tpl (OPTIONAL AS BELOW) - orderforms/cart/viewcart.php (OPTIONAL LANGUAGE STRINGS ONLY) i just uploaded those files and all was fine . Hope this helps
ChrisGooding
Ahhhh so you upload them to portal template? I had uploaded them to default, and to our custom folder, but not portal... If that's the case, it wasn't very clear it was the portal ones. I'll give it a go anyway..... whats the worse that can happen
ChrisGooding
OK, so I have tried that but with no joy I have flushed all caches, tried different machines etc, but nothing. If I revert back to the default style as the template setting in general settings, it works, but not when using our custom template. And, I have uploaded the new files to our custom template folder... Surely there is something I am missing :?
joe123
Ahhhh so you upload them to portal template? i did because i use the portal template and did not want to overwrite the cunstom files that i have there so if you use the default then upload all the new files (version 3.6.1)and see if it works for you.
ChrisGooding
I have uploaded all the new files....] Firstly as per the instructions (just default folder), then when the default template worked, I uploaded them to my custom set... but it doesnt work when using my custom folder set
