dsaunier
Hi We've been using WHMCS for a few weeks now, it has run "on its own" for the last 5 days and things were rather smooth, but I now have that issue and would like to understand what is wrong in my setup or understanding : - system set to auto register and autorenew domains when clients order them and pay by CC - WHMCS submits the registrations or renewals to our Enom API when payment is accepted - at that point the order is still "pending" even though its Payment Status is complete and the name has been processed. So when checking the orders that had been processed while I was away I thought I'd set those orders to "accepted" as a sort of last-step human control, even though having them finished automatically at that point would have been more logical as all steps were complete ? My issue is that for that 2-y renewal on one domain that had been processed and confirmed to the client already, WHMCS submitted yet another 2-y renewal for that domain to Enom ! The name now expires in 4 years and I have lost money. How are you processing your orders yourselves and what is wrong here ? Thanks !
chickendippers
So when checking the orders that had been processed while I was away I thought I'd set those orders to "accepted" as a sort of last-step human control. You're correct! When you manually accept the order just be sure to untick the create account, send to registrar and send notification boxes.
dsaunier
Well when I'm on the order details page at /orders.php?action=view&id=xx there are no such options. Why would such automatically processed orders still require a manual acceptation, is my setup incorrect ? Thanks.
