Any plans for SEO optimisation?

Hi, i`m a newbie to the WHMCS platform and am very impressed with the work you guys have done, the product meets the expectations of any hosting company.

The only thing that would improve the product in my opinion would be integrated SEO. E.G the ability to edit titles of pages and use static urls without messing with the templates.

Obviously this isn't a massive issue but one i think worth mentioning.

hostedweb, I hope on your link to have a unbranded license.. If not you have taken off the copyright and put your own name there.

I don't understand what your saying here, if your asking if i have an unbranded license the answer is yes, i don't go around ripping peoples hard work off as my own if thats what your suggesting.

URL formatting is only one of MANY factors taken into consideration in relation to SEO. Google and other search engines frown on individual pages that do not have unique meta tags. It is for that reason that in their webmaster tools they show you exactly which pages on your site have duplicate tags. There are MANY other factors to consider as well.

I followed Google's guidelines at http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=35769 for my http://OttawaComputer.Com site with huge success. As of today, it is the number one listed site for my keywords. In case you do not know, Ottawa is Canada's national capital. You can bet there are a LOT of companies that want the #1 spot when people search for "Ottawa Computer Stores" or "Ottawa Computer" or other such searches. Why is it that I am #1? Is it because I followed Google's guidelines? I believe it is not a coincidence! Check out the Google results at http://www.google.ca/#q=ottawa+computer+stores

My thought is that the fine folks at WHMCS should go through the Google Guidelines and make sure WHMCS is properly optimized. Anyone else agree?

Every website owner/webmaster should use the Google Webmaster Tools at http://www.google.com/webmasters/ to review the problems that Google has seen on their site and see what recommendations they make to improve the site.

Basically what I have said is, don't listen to me... listen to Google!
