freedombi
Anything in your mail log?
bin_asc
Various factors here. Is your mail function still working ? Has your server been configured by accident to block nobody sent emails ( this would cause issues when not using suPHP ).
ihostct
I have the same problem, though I "think" I may have an idea as to why my cron messages stopped. Originally when I set the cron up in cpanel I left the default "Please enter an email address where the cron output will be sent" as the user name. A few days ago I put an email address in there so I would know the cron was ran via my other email addy. I know that should not have effected the whmcs cron message, but it is the ONLY thing that I had changed and I can't see any other reason for the problem, and the whmcs email stopped that same day. I've been sifting through the mail logs on both servers but no clues yet.
ihostct
Still no cron emails. I do get copies of the invoices sent, etc. In the configuration, which is the email address that the cron email would be going to?
NexusWebLinks
wow. been searching for anything that would help my problem. this post is the closest to being similar to mine. i just don't want to start another thread asking the same question and since this has not been resolved yet, i may need to state the same scenarion i am having. when i initially setup my whmcs, it sends out a notification to admin & client after i signup a sample client order. thot everything was fine. cus i also see the crom notifications the next day, everything was not. the email log is saying whmcs is sending either invoices or welcome emails yet no physical emails have been received. all this, i was using php mail(). i tried using my stmp details and all i got was error saying unsuccessful send and no log on the email log. now not even cron notification is not anymore received. have checked with my host and told me they cannot find anything wrong with sendmail nor the php nor my particular domain. as of this writing, matt is trying to help out. hope he can find the fix my present whmcs status: not sending email notification using php mail() but whmcs is generating the mail as verified in email log. no cron notification is also being received. fyi. i have setup the cpanel cron job correctly.
ihostct
I have mysteriously started to receive the cron email again. I have no idea why, I made no changes over the last few days due to lack of time to worry about it. A few other things suddenly started to behave as well. I can only attribute any mystery changes to cpanel updates at this point... no other explanation. Happy that it works now, hope it stays that way!
ihostct
Well, no joy here. Stopped working again. I suppose it is time for a support ticket.
