ScrltOTara
Hi: I'm looking at the new API reseller account from GoDaddy. So I asked them if it was compatible with WHMCS and they are telling me it is. Anyone know anything about this?
WHMCS Developer WHMCS Andrew Posted April 6, 2008 WHMCS Developer Share Posted April 6, 2008 There is no automation between WHMCS and GoDaddy/WWD at the current time.
ScrltOTara
I was aware of that, but this is some new API reseller account and they are telling people it's compatible. Just wondering if they are blowing smoke up our you-know-whats.

ScrltOTara
All I could find on it is: Sell traffic-driving, high-demand domain name registrations, private registrations and unique software and services from your Web site. The Wild West Domains new Application Programming Interface (API) plugs seamlessly into your site, maintaining your branding and unique look and feel. Increase your bottom line. Earn your share of the domain name registration business. With more than 63 million Web addresses already registered worldwide, the market is booming. And there's plenty of room for your business to grow. If your online business accepts credit cards and performs real-time authorization, take advantage of Wild West's API. With our expert help, you'll realize the traffic-driving potential of domain names - under your own private resale brand.
Davidpbj
WWD API is compatible with WHMCS... it's just a pain to accomplish and has to meet certain certification criteria before GoDaddy will let it connect. The problem is finding a coder who is familiar with the API.
patrickong
Hosting Controller (http://www.hostingcontroller.com) has just managed to interface with GoDaddy API on 26 May 08 with their HC7 latest built. And HC7 is building up their rookie billing system in HC7. It's too simple and if WHMCS could work something out with them, it'll push sales for both vendors.
