shoggy24
Some of my support ticket message body are coming in blank and the customer insisted the email body they sent wasnt empty. Then it happened to me too when logged in as the admin and tried replying a support ticket with one of the predefined messages. The message was sent but the body in whmcs was empty/blank although the predefined message was inserted before sending. Anyone had an issue like this? Need assistant as this is really affecting my customer relations
dordal
Yes, I've had this happen a few times too. I have been unable to track down the source, but I'm fairly sure it has something funny to do with the way the client's email program sends their mail, because it ALWAYS happens for certain clients. We send all our ticket emails to an email account, and whenever we get a blank support ticket we go look at the email account to see what was really said.
shoggy24
You are right Dordal as in the issue os restricted to certain clients but another confusing part is when i reply to the affected or empty ticket nothing is displayed either.
louise
I am still having this problem and have not been able to trace the reason down to a particular client or email program. I've tested with gmail, my personal mail and I still get the same result....empty tickets. All after upgrade to 3.6.0 Louise
shoggy24
I am currently experiencing the problem with Gmail as all other popuar providers work just fine. Like i said earlier the part that irks me is not only the blank email delivered, but all correspondent relating to that ticket is also blank, the support department replies and even if the client login to the client area to reply to the ticket are all blank. Matt, any idea why?
shoggy24
Now emails that were sending tickets just fine before , like mine used in previous testing are now blank too and when i try to use email forwarder instead pop3 import i get the error message "Blocked Potential Email Loop". This is very frustrating
sTag-Dan
I've had this happened to me too. Tickets that were sent it were blank and the customer was certain he didn't send a blank email. Happened a few times actually. Most recent issue is, emails are received and opened a ticket but I don't think the system sent a response to the customer confirming the ticket was received and created. I am also suspecting that our replies aren't sent to the customers. Reason being nothing is logged in the ticket import log. Now when I go and test it, everything is working fine. Anyone experiencing this same issue?
KayoteX
The same for me. Looks like we need to be able to configure parsing rules. Maybe other ideas?
