9thnode
I've quickly searched through the manual as well as the forums for an answer, and have fallen a bit short, hopefully someone can help. Is there a way to put conditional statements (if) in E-mail templates? Reason is, I'm noticing that when people signup for a subdomain, the e-mail activation / welcome template says: FTP Hostname: http://www.[Domain] Webpage URL: http://www.[Domain] Control Panel: http://www.[Domain]/cpanel where technically in a subdomain account the WWW is not needed. Is there a way to wrap it in an IF conditional where if they order a subdomain it reads FTP Hostname: [Domain] Webpage URL: http://[Domain] Control Panel: http://[Domain]/cpanel and if for a regular domain, with the WWW? Any help is much appreciated as always Thanks
Si
why not just drop the www altogether? A properly configured http server will work with or without the www and so without it should do just as well as with it. ? Si
9thnode
You are completely correct, and good point. This will work, however, for some of the more ... hmmm... "simple" users, seeing that WWW makes it feel "official" if that makes any sense. If this is not possible, I'm fine with just removing the WWW altogether, just wondering if the option was there or not. Thanks
