penguin
As a new user, we're currently going through everything to ensure that the software meets our requirements, which I'm happy to say it does soom to do so far. I've noticed an issue with the Nominet though - under Nominet rules, a domain can only be renewed when it's within 6 months of it's expiry date. Currently, a customer can select a .uk domain and order a renewal of the domain if it's more than 6 months to the expiry date. I'm hoping that a date check can be built in and so not allow customers to try and renew their domain unless it's within 6 months of the expiry.
nathany
I'll certainly second what you have said, it could cause problems with customers that just 'have' to click everything!
penguin
Exactly - their payment will be acquired but the renewal cannot then be processed which opens up a can of worms with both having to arrange a refund and also the issue with explaining to the customer the issue....
othellotech
Its a temporary problem - as multi-year registrations is coming from Nominet shortly.
