Plesk account creation failed due to already existsing account

When we try to create a client's hosting, we get:

"Server Command Error

1014 - Parser error: Cannot parse the XML from the source specified"

The workaround is to change the client's name in WHMCS, either the first name or the last name, and then try again. This is not a very practical workaround because:

(1) We end up with mangled First Names / Last Names in WHMCS

(2) A duplicate account is created on our Plesk infrastructure. This causes Expand to have a contention issue which in turns holds up the central mail creation.

(3) It's a real inconvenience because it affects all our regular customers, i.e. those who use us for repeat business.

We took this issue up with Matt about 6 months ago and according to him it's because Plesk has no way to query a user based on e-mail address or name. I have tried to take this issue up with SWSoft (who are now called Parallels). The last response I had was:

"You should correct the request accrording to schema agent_input.xsd (psa/htdocs/schemas/rpc/..).

I'm using xmllint --schema <file> <reqeust> for checking request."

Here is the thread where I have logged this problem at Parallels.

I would really like some help with this and is willing to pay for assistance.
