djaxel
Hello, I am registering .ro tld and this tld is a "life-time" registration period. It never renews . I want to set up in WHMCS to appear 100 years instead of 10 ( that is maximum the whmcs can support ) I modified the tbldomainpricing table in mysql and set it to 29 years or less (28,27,26,25,etc) for the .ro tld, all it's working fine , but when I set it to 30 years in the tbldomainpricing table or more (31,32,33 etc) it renews the domain every day when the cron runs. Is it a setting that forces me to use 29 years or less for tlds? Thank you.
minadreapta
as long as the domain doesn't have renewal set, it will not be renewed. my advice is not to alter the mysql tables, instead wait for perpetual tld registration support. or open a feature request for this. i think there are a few perpetual tlds: .ro , .nl, .ua
djaxel
do you know when it's scheduled for whmcs to have perpetual registration support?
minadreapta
it is not scheduled. i have requested this once, i've seen some other requests here on this forum for this feature. if you request it too, maybe the developer will eventually consider adding this option. submit a feature request...
