Accept domain registration order before payment updates Nest Due Date twice

Not sure if I am missing something or if anyone else has experienced this. I'm using NEO as my domain registrar.

I ordered a couple of domains for a client who prefers to pay by check. I know and trust them and they wanted to process the order immediately so they wouldn't lose the domains. I accepted the order in WHMCS leaving the box checked to send to the registrar. The domains registered successfully.

When I received the check I added the payment to the invoice. Since the domains were already active the system didn't try and register the domain again but WHMCS updated the Next Due date to 2028 instead of leaving it as 2027.

Have I missed a setting somewhere or is this a bug?

Sounds like it processed a renewal instead of a registration. If set to autorenew, this issue should resolve itself given youve fixed this renewal date issue
