Client email address

I've some clients that have more than one service but they want to keave them separate.

Example:

1 - Has an hosting account and a domain with a company and another one with another company. So company details are different but he has only one email address

2 - Has personal hosting and company hosting so two invoices fields but one email address.

When I try to make this WHMCS give me an error telling me that there is already a customer with that email address and I cannot add another customer if I don't change email address.

Any tricks to avoid this issue?

Separate in what sense ?

Separate as in different invoices - just make sure the renewals aren't on the same date and each service will be invoiced separately.

Separate as in different WHMCS accounts - as the login to the account is by email, they'd need 2 email addresses :)
