Auto order package with Domain Name

I've seen this asked a few times, but never answered.

 

Is there any way to auto order a package with each domain registration? What I am trying to do, is have a Domain Parking Package that I want to give out free with domain registration. I realize that it might get a little tricky since I wouldn't want to setup the package if they are already ordering a package, but only if they are ordering a domain anme and nothing else (maybe that is why I have not found a system yet that supports this).

 

I can set the package to the price of a domain registration, and then offer the domain for free with that package, but I'm thinking that this might confuse customers, or they might not realize that the package exists while ordering a domain through the configdomains procedure in cart.php.

 

This would even work as an optional add-on service.

you might be able to add something into the actionhooks file to check the order just includes a domain. Then use the API stuff in WHMCS to add another order for the same customer with your, I would assume hidden, domain parking package

That is what I plan to do... as soon as I have time to do it. I'm am noticing now that I posted this in the wrong forum, as it should be in feature requests.

 

I find it hard to believe that there isn't already included in whmcs. I always thought that it was a given, that if you sell domain names by themselves, you have to provide some type of parking.
