Serenade
Where do you go to set up the monthly pricing breakdown. Aka, change the prices to not all the same price.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted January 29, 2008 WHMCS CEO Share Posted January 29, 2008 The monthly pricing is calculated by working out how much your quarterly, semi-annual, annual and biennial billing cycle prices cost per month. So if they are the same that means you aren't giving your clients any discount for paying for a longer period at a time. Matt

PPH
Yeah so how do I give them a discount for paying longuer? By putting the amount you want to charge for the different terms instead of it being the same?!?
9DollarDomains
Yeah so how do I give them a discount for paying longuer? What they're saying is that if you charge $10 / month, and $120 year, then it'll still calculate that as $10 / month of course. However, if you select $100 / year, then the breakdown should show $8.33 / month.
goldeagle
Hmm, is it possible to alter the code slightly so the client knows that the price your showing them is worked out on a per month basis. And if possible also include another bit which shows the client how much they would be saving per year by choosing that payment term... Im just asking cause I turned this on before and got confused at first thinking the price shown was for the entire period as apposed to being a monthly breakdown.
chickendippers
You could modify the viewcart.tpl to include this message somewhere.
goldeagle
I could but it would be limited as to what I could put in as it would need to be relevant to all packages. Even then it would be impossible to display the message "This would save you £/$ per Month" or something, as each package would be completely different and all run off the 1 template.
chickendippers
Try using an if command, this should do the trick: {if $productinfo.name eq "Plan 1"}This would save you £7 per Month {elseif $productinfo.name eq "Plan 2"}This would save you £5 per Month{/if}
